This project was done with a group of 4 other students for 2.75 Medical Device Design. The goal was to design a system which could sense the water content in pharmaceutical vials as they go through a freeze drying chamber to 1mg accuracry without any electronics within the chamber itself. The end design used an optical lever which would reflect off of a cantilever flexure which held the vial.
